coffee houses and grillrooms

Rotterdam -  Apparently before Coffee House Monte Carlo opened there used to be another establishment at the Putselaan 8. A place called Frans. I wondered what kind of a place Frans used to be. Frans is a Dutch boy’s name, but I couldn’t recognize the logo. Is a figure with ladder? Was Frans a window cleaner? A chimney sweeper maybe? After some google-ing I found out that it used to be a grillroom. Snackbar Grillroom Frans. Frans seemed on odd name for a grillroom. But that was before I had a tea at Coffee House Oslo later this morning.
