Edward Said

Ramallah -  Ramallah renamed and named its streets in the past few years. A hefty  naming project was underway where Palestinian, Arab, and international figures and objects were recalled to mark the city's streets. Not all cities and certainly not all villages have street names and home numbers in Palestine; addresses are usually given based on nearby objects. In the background, water storage tanks and satellite dishes decorate the city's horizon.
