Pattern 3 Qalandia as a Palestinian reality check

Qalandia -  As well as for the people from Ramallah as for all Palestinians as for all world citizens Qalandia is the place where you can see the Palestinian reality in its most physical appearance. the Walls, the traces of violence, the demolished houses etc etc this makes it a great ground for festivals like the Qalandia International festival that is right now going on in cities like Ramallah, Bethlehem, Beirut and London. The emptiness in the village shows the exodus of Palestinians to Jerusalem, Ramallah and the States, Canada, Zweden and Germany (the list my taxi driver told me today). There are signs of chaos and stress. The empty spaces are symbols of the hardship and exodus AND they offer possibilities at the same time.
