Rotterdam -  Many people in Tarwewijk who used to work in the harbour and factories are jobless today. The new job market is in hairdo (African, Asian, Western), international telephone booths, small food shops and garages. Along the Maashaven pier and in Tarwewijk are many car repair shops. I overheard a man with Turkish accent say to another man: ‘I have been working for you for two months now, and didn’t get paid yet.’
