Public territories: politics

Rotterdam -  The Social Democratic Party (PVDA) proudly presents their achieved politics in the neighbourhood. On the picture one can see a sticker attached to the entrance of a store front in the shopping street of Crooswijk. It says that due to the PVDA people can park in the street for only 10 eurocent during the first half hour. Crooswijk is a neighbourhood where originally a huge percentage of the inhabitants supported the PVDA. Nowadays they are faced with serious competitors as the PVV (anti-islamic party).
