Bottom up

Sao Paulo -  When I ask myself why there are so many skinny flatbuildings in Sao Paulo, this picture gives the answer. Everytime a couple of small one or two story high houses are torn down, a flatbuilding is made on top of these small plots of land. Skinny as a stacking of single houses. It does affect the quality of city if it is stripped from its life at the bottom.
