Ramallah -
Every foreigner walking freely in the streets of Ramallah is a potential ambassador of Palestine. So you are welcomed to the country many times a day. That is not out of calculation. People are more soft, communicating and relaxed then I experience it in my hometown in Amsterdam, Here in the refugee camp al Am’ari it is even written on the wall. It is a strange experience to visit a refugee camp in a city where in fact everybody is a refugee. It does look like and has the same home made buildings that favelas in Brazil have.
By the way I am not sure this welcome is for me. It says WELCOME to al Am’ari refugee camp.
