I, by profession am a photographer of Bangladeshi origin now. I like to work with human and focus on the complex community that exists in our society, being in a ship breaking yard or under drainage sewer of the city or wherever I need to be. As present I am working as a staff photographer at DrikNEWS, a news photo agency based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I am also studying in 3rd year in advanced program in photography in Pathshala-South Asian Media Academy. In 2009, 2010 and 2011 I was nominated for ‘Joop Swart Marsterclass’ organized by World Press Photo. My works are published in National Geographic Magazine, Readers Digest, The Guardian, The Daily Star, The Daily New Age, Himal Southasian, Better Photography and in other publications. Besides that I was a practicing lawyer from 2007-2009 in Chittagong Bar but later I decided to change my track to photography taking much loved hobby as a profession.
